Amber Arc Gallery

PROJECT RECORD
THE WORK
Amber Arc Gallery is conceived as a refined retail environment in which architecture, furniture and display form one continuous composition. The design is organised around an elongated central island that guides movement through the boutique while offering clear, carefully framed views of the collection. Its rounded profile and glass enclosure give the display a light, jewel-like presence, while integrated drawers provide discreet storage without interrupting the visual clarity of the space. A sequence of curved wall panels and illuminated niches creates the gallery’s defining rhythm. Each opening frames a single object or a small group of pieces, allowing the products to be read individually rather than as visual clutter. Full-height sculptural mirrors enlarge the perceived depth of the room and introduce moments of reflection, while vertical timber fins soften transitions between the entrance, service counter and display zones. The material palette is warm and tactile. Amber-toned leather, terracotta surfaces, brushed brass and pale stone are balanced by soft upholstery and clear glass. Fine stitching along the display island reinforces the project’s attention to craftsmanship. Brass tables and circular pendant lights provide controlled highlights, while the light-coloured terrazzo floor carries a sweeping amber inlay that connects the principal elements and leads visitors through the interior. Lighting is integrated into the architecture rather than applied as decoration. Concealed illumination follows the ceiling curves and display arches, giving the walls depth and creating an even glow around the merchandise. Focused lighting within the cases reveals material, colour and detail, while a warmer ambient layer supports consultation and rest. The gallery combines retail efficiency with the atmosphere of a private salon. Clear circulation, open sightlines and a direct relationship to the glazed entrance make the space easy to navigate, while the lounge seating and carefully scaled furniture encourage slower viewing. Amber Arc Gallery turns the act of browsing into a composed spatial experience—warm, precise and quietly theatrical.

EDITORIAL REVIEW
EDITOR’S SELECTION
Amber Arc Gallery demonstrates strong control of spatial identity, material continuity and retail choreography. The repeated arches, curved display island and circular lighting establish a memorable visual language without overwhelming the merchandise. Particularly successful is the balance between opulence and clarity: leather, brass and warm amber tones create richness, while pale stone, glass and disciplined lighting preserve openness. The project presents a coherent customer journey from arrival and browsing to consultation, supported by carefully integrated storage and display details.
